Nikon D200 w/Sigma 10-20mm
Friday had been a very cold night causing crystals on the surrounding trees. I was off to fix a computer for a friend and couldn't resist stopping and capturing this. The first true blue sky we'd seen in weeks. No filters here, a slight curves and high pass filter.

Nikon D200 w/Sigma 10-20mmAn old abandoned bridge not to far from the house. Every now and then I can capture some interesting light here but not on this day. Overcast and dreary. To get the white snow I up'd the exposure to +2ev. I think I went to far and blew out some of the areas.
With the sky being sooooo blue, it really brings out the beauty of the crystal tree!! Prefer the first shot, as it shows the whole tree. Stunning!! N
ReplyDeleteAgree w/ Anon/N above ... the icy branches against the blue is so beautiful.
